NIKE STREAKFLY 2

SHOULD YOU BUY THEM ?

There was, of course, a Streakfly 1, I don’t think it sold particularly well but it made quite a nice casual shoe.

Don’t get them confused, this is a totally, totally different shoe. This is feather weight, the absolute lightest shoe it is possible to buy, it fits like a second skin and is viciously fast. This is basically Nike’s Dragonfly track spike without the spikes and with a little more foam under the heel.

So what’s it for? Well, out and out road racing for distances up to 5km, sensational for a road mile. It also makes a great track trainer, being more forgiving than spikes on your achilles and calves.

So, quite limited use but, oh boy, what an incredible shoe.

IMPORTANT. The Streakfly 2, similar to a track spike, is an extremely snug fit. If you run sockless, no problem but with your usual socks on you will almost certainly need to go up a further half size from your usual Nike size.
